Invoices for your sales

Turn invoices on once, and every sale gets one: by hand from the sale, or on its own when you print the label.

Only sellers who trade as a business need invoices. If you are clearing out your own wardrobe, you do not.

In France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK, Flogit makes the invoice itself. In Portugal, Spain and Italy the law wants certified software, so Flogit sends the sale to the program you already use.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings and choose Invoices.
  2. Turn on Issue invoices.
  3. In Your business country, choose the country your business is registered in.
  4. In Portugal, Spain or Italy, click your program's card and follow its own article below. Anywhere else, fill in your business details, as described next.

When Flogit makes the invoice

  1. Fill in Business name, Business address and Tax number.
  2. Under Logo, add your logo if you want it at the top of the page.
  3. Choose your VAT regime: exempt, margin scheme for used goods, or standard VAT with its rate.
  4. Set the Number prefix. Numbers then run in order each year, with no gaps.

The invoice is written in the buyer's language where Flogit knows the right legal wording, and the price is worked back from what the buyer paid.

Issue one

Open the sale and press Issue invoice. Flogit fills in the buyer: from Vinted for Pro accounts, otherwise from the shipping label, or from the name Vinted showed when the label was being ordered. Check it, correct it if needed, and confirm.

With Issue it when the label is printed on, the invoice is made when you print the label and is added to the same print, after the label and the packing slip.

Your register

Every invoice and credit note is listed under Taxes, in Invoices. Export CSV gives your accountant the whole list.

To cancel an invoice after a return, press Credit note next to it, then Issue credit note. The invoice stays, marked as cancelled, and the credit note sits next to it: you keep both.

The certified programs

Each has its own step-by-step article:

This is not tax advice

Which invoices you must issue, and with which VAT, depends on your country and your situation. Check with your accountant. Flogit is an independent tool and is not connected to Vinted.
