Desktop notifications for offers and sales
The bell shows what is new. Three switches decide how Flogit tells you.
Press the bell at the top right. At the bottom are three switches: Sale sound, Desktop notifications and Number on the Flogit icon.
The same switches are in Settings, Preferences.
What the bell shows
- How many things wait in each part of Flogit, like Sales, Offers and Messages. Press a line to go there.
- Vinted's own notifications, like new favourites. Press a favourite to open a conversation with that person.
- See all opens Vinted's notifications page.
An orange dot on the bell means something is new. The counts clear when you look.
The three switches
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sale sound | A short sound once for each new sale. |
| Desktop notifications | A notification on your screen for a new offer or a new sale. Your browser asks for permission the first time. |
| Number on the Flogit icon | A count on the Flogit button in your browser's toolbar. |
If the desktop switch will not stay on
Your browser gives permission site by site. The Flogit app and each Vinted site ask separately. Turn the switch on in the place where you use Flogit, and allow it when the browser asks.
If you blocked it before, allow notifications again in your browser's site settings.
With Flogit closed
While Flogit is open, it checks Vinted every few minutes.
With Flogit closed, your browser still checks for new sales every 15 to 20 minutes. It plays the sale sound and updates the number on the Flogit icon. Desktop notifications need Flogit open.
With the browser closed, nothing checks. No server of ours holds your Vinted session.
