Why the search is stricter than Vinted's
Vinted search returns anything that shares a word with your item. Cheap mismatches pull the price down.
Search for a wool coat on Vinted and you also get wool scarves and boots in the same size.
Flogit drops the listings that do not match your item. When you open an item, it also keeps only the same category.
Why it matters
A scarf is cheaper than a coat. Mix them and the middle price falls.
If you follow that price, you sell for less than the item is worth.
What Flogit checks
- Words. If your title has a model code, the listing must have it too. If not, it must share at least 2 words with your title.
- Parts and extras. Cases, straps and spare parts are dropped when you sell the item itself.
- Odd prices. Prices more than 3 times above or below the middle are dropped.
When you open an item, Flogit also checks two more things:
- Category. Only listings in the same Vinted category as your item.
- Condition. First the same condition. If that finds too few, any condition, but never another category.
Check prices for the whole shop matches by words only.
The result is fewer listings and a truer price. See why the sample size matters more than the median.
Change the search words
In Market, the search words are in a box. Flogit picks them from your title and brand.
Sometimes a word hurts: a slogan, a colour name nobody uses, a typo. Cut it, press Refresh, and see what happens to the count.
When Flogit knows the item's category, the words you type decide what matches. When it does not, your listing's own title still decides.
More results with the wrong items gives you a wrong price that looks sure.
