Help Inventory & stock Set a cost on several items at once
Set a cost on several items at once
A bag of twelve shirts has one cost per shirt. Type it once.
Tick the rows in Inventory, press Set cost, type the cost of one item and confirm.
The cost stays on this computer. It is never sent to Vinted.
Work out the cost of one item
Divide what you paid by the items you can sell, not by all the items in the bag.
Twelve shirts for 30 euros, and three were unsellable: 30 divided by 9 is 3.33 each.
Close enough is fine. A rough cost on every item beats an exact cost on a few.
Doing it
-
Filter down to the lot
If the items share a word, such as a brand, type it in the Title filter. See Filter and sort the grid.
-
Tick the rows and press Set cost
The confirm button shows how many items you are about to set.
-
Type the cost and confirm
It replaces any cost already there, so you can also use it to fix a mistake.
For one item, click its Cost cell and type the number.
Where the items came from
Set origin works the same way. Pick where the items came from, or No origin to remove it.
Origin also stays on this computer. Taxes shows profit by origin. Taxes is on the Trader and Mogul plans.
Without a cost you only see sales. With it you see profit, margin, and a lowest price for counter-offers.
