Help Offers What ends a negotiation

What ends a negotiation

Three settings decide when another counter is not worth sending.

Minimum step, Max counter-offers and Lowest price (% of listing price).

Between them, a haggle ends with an answer instead of going quiet.

The gap is too small

If the offer is within Minimum step of your price, Flogit suggests accept. The default is 1, in your currency.

Another round over a small amount can lose the sale.

Enough rounds

Max counter-offers is 2 by default. After that many counters, Flogit stops suggesting new ones:

  • If their offer is at or above your lowest price, it suggests accept.
  • If not, it suggests one last counter at your lowest price. The reply ends with a line saying it is your best price.

Set it to 0 for no limit.

The offer is far too low

An offer under half of your lowest price is suggested as reject. The reply still invites a better offer.

See Set your lowest price.

The buyer who always offers low

Each offer under your lowest price is counted per buyer. From 2 such offers, the buyer gets a red badge on the offer.

It is only a sign. Nothing is blocked.

You still decide

These are suggestions. Accept, Counter and Reject are your click.
